I am Evonne Jenkins, a licensed therapist with Mended Counseling. I am a graduate of University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a double major in social work and sociology. I pursued a Master of Social Work degree from the Joint Master of Social Work program with NC & AT and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. I am also a proud Air Force veteran.

Life gets hard and confusing sometimes. Like many of my clients, I’ve experienced trauma, divorce, stress and other struggles in my life. I thought I would never overcome some of my obstacles at one time or another. These situations led me to a career as a therapist and my personal work with my own Internal Family Systems therapist. Yep, I am a therapist who has a therapist because I believe in therapy and doing my own work. Plus life keeps happening.

Life can be better!!! You can begin your healing journey now. You can learn to walk through life with more self-energy, your core Self, or however you reference you in all of your authenticity. You can learn how to develop a better relationship with your thoughts and emotions. You can develop greater insight into your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.
